Parade of Books

Hueneme Elementary School

Hello Families,

Get ready to celebrate the joy of reading at our annual Parade of Books! Join us on Friday, October 30, from 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM as our school comes alive with stories. Students are invited to dress up as their favorite book character or participate in special classroom activities centered around their favorite books. All families are warmly invited to cheer on our readers. Please enter through the cafeteria gate upon arrival. We can’t wait to see our favorite stories brought to life! Classroom teachers will be reaching out with information specific to their classrooms. We kindly ask that students not wear masks or anything that may be too scary for our youngest readers.

Also, Friday, October 30, is one of our special early release days. We will be following the Wednesday schedule. TK and K will be dismissed at 12:00, 1st through 3rd will be dismissed at 12:05, and 4th & 5th will be dismissed at 12:10. The after-school program will be operating right after the dismissal times.

Please feel free to contact the office at (805) 488-3569 with any questions.
